Cobi Rehab acquires the Danish manufacturer of positioning aids LASAL A/S

At the beginning of January 2019, Cobi Rehab acquired 100% of the shares in LASAL A / S. The company's former owner and CEO Tine Devantier Winther Lundgren continues as CEO of LASAL.
LASAL was established in the late 80's and has 30 years of experience in developing and producing high quality positioning aids for all branches of the healthcare industry such as hospitals, care centers, institutions and also home care. Over the years, LASAL has built a position in Denmark and internationally as a respected and recognized manufacturer of custom-designed positioning cushions and solutions that help stabilize and relieve those with disabilities.
LASALs specially developed positioning cushions and solutions are manufactured at its factory in Thorsø, Denmark, and are sold through a well-established distribution network throughout Scandinavia, major parts of Europe and even Japan resulting in more than 80% of its revenue being generated in the export market.
Since its establishment in the mid-1990s, Cobi Rehab has also specialized in quality enhancing positioning solutions for people with disabilities making LASAL a perfect match to further strengthen its product portfolio and knowledge in positioning and leasing, and offers the opportunity to reach even more immobile people with their life quality-enhancing positioning and storage solutions.
